Task: Maintain Financial Configuration
The objective of this task is to identify changes to the financial reporting and time writing structures and assure the necessary changes are applied in a consistent way in the financial and time writing applications used by the Service Engagement.

Main Description

During the life of a Service Engagement, financial projects will be added and closed. Within N2K Delivery the Engagement Manager must maintain the reporting structure by adding new financial project in the correct place of the reporting structure. The structure is also important in order to calculate the different types of DVI and report upwards in the Capgemini hierarchy on OTACE, Risks and Issues. The Engagement Manager can refer to the attached guideline for further details on financial configuration.

The Engagement Manager should regularly evaluate changes within the Service Engagement but also outside it, that can impact the structures used to write time. Increased and decreased scope of services to be delivered to the Client are typically sources for adapting the structure of the time writing as new activities can be identified or old ones deemed no longer necessary.

Below model shows a generic setup of a Service Engagement reporting structure for N2K Delivery, enabling the correct logging of budgets and forecasts and the reporting and analysis of financial KPI’s.
